The Khwarazmian dynasty was a continuation of the Islamic period after the Ghaznavids and Seljuks. They were of Turkic origin and sought to erase the stigma of their foreignness by embracing Islam sincerely. They relied on the Muhammadian Sharia, to gain acceptance among Iranians.
After the invasion of Muslims into Iran and the dissemination of the language of revelation across this land, Iranian rulers sought to obtain symbols of the heir apparent from the caliphs of Baghdad, they employed secretaries who were fluent in Arabic so that they could use religious expressions and Quranic verses to demonstrate their Islamic love, aiming to deepen their submission to the caliphate and align themselves with the Baghdad court.
Nasavi was the last secretary of the Islamic government’s court under Arabic influence, that constantly tried to showcase his knowledge of the Quran and Hadith, along with his understanding of his Islamic enthusiasm, in "Naftha al-Masdūr ". He aimed to demonstrate his divine favoritism towards "The pupil of Islam's eye," Sultan Jalal, and sought to emphasize his prestige by portraying a holy image of him.
This research endeavors to analyze the sacred concepts derived from the Quran that have contributed to the divine sanctification of the pious image of Sultan Jalal. It aims to address the question of how significantly these concepts have influenced the portrayal of the Sultan's sacred persona.
