In the perspective of interpreting the Quran and understanding its verses, application and adaptation are familiar terms. The hypothesis of the present article is that it seems unlikely that this method of understanding and meaning-making is not reflected in Rumi's interpretative horizon. Therefore, it attempts to examine, in a descriptive-analytical manner and with reference to library studies, the functions, criteria, breaking with tradition, and Rumi's individual approaches in applying this rule, based on some verses of the spiritual Masnavi, while examining and discussing the theoretical framework of this rule.It is clear that the spiritual Mathnavi, the "Persian Quran", is the pinnacle of Persian literature's use of the Quranic verses, and any attempt to achieve a style of understanding and context of meaning in it has a complete and undeniable dependence on the processes related to Quranic studies. This outlines the goals of this essay in developing interdisciplinary research and opening new doors in the stylistics of literary works. The conclusion of the present study is that Rumi's reflections, by moving away from the monopolisticism of adaptation and breaking the standard of the well-known and predetermined meanings of the revelation, have opened the way for the dynamism and non-freezing of meaning in understanding the verses of the Quran; as a result, his spiritual Masnavi, by using the process of succession and adaptation, has brought a third line other than traditional interpretation and interpretation for the reader's understanding of the Quranic instances.
