Among the aesthetic topics that play a prominent role in the music of poetry, is balance. Balance is achieved through artistic repetition that occur in the form and cause regularity and literary order, which can be analyzed and classified in three levels: phonetic, lexical and syntactic. Each of the patterns of balance have some prominences in music that forms linguistic actions and makes the form sublime. The musical richness of Nizami`s poetry depends to a large extent on his use of phonetic and lexical balances. Nizami uses syllable repetitions that form his chosen rhythms and phonetic repetitions, which follow the combination of consonants and vowels and make music a system in the language itself. The high frequency of repetition of consonants and vowels at the beginning, middle and end of words shows his attention to rhythm and music. He also creates incomplete and complete homogenesties with patterns of similarity and contrast in the group of words. Phonetic and lexical balances in Nizami`s poetry depend on the selections that happens at the level of the words and forms the music of paradigms. The form of Nizami`s language also determines the function of sounds and words that leads to repetitions and strengthens the musical foundations of the language. This research aims to explain the types of phonetic and lexical balances in Nizami`s poetry with descriptive-analytical method, to evaluate the frequency of two types of balances and analyze their role in the musical richness of Nizamy`s poetry.
